A massive fire broke out in the winter of 2010, which engulfed the Carmel Forest.

Why We Deployed

Almost 1,500 firefighters were working 24/7. We felt as though we were obligated to show solidarity with our first responders, and ease their suffering in any way we could.

Impact

  • More than 2,000 hygiene kits delivered, containing lip balm, eye drops, socks, toothpaste, and toothbrushes
  • 15,000 sandwiches provided to first responders
  • Pipes, hoses, and gloves were donated to the firefighters
